The Model 8500 garage door is a 2" thick, top of the line door that features an incredible 15 R-value and great flexibility of sizes, ranging from 8' to 20' wide (6" increments) and up to 8' high in 3" increments. Its steel skin is embossed with a rich woodgrain pattern for the look of genuine wood.

The colonial and contemporary designs are available in white, brown, taupe and almond. The Model 8500 can be ordered with either StyleLine Lites or Décor Lites. A lifetime limited warranty backs up this high quality door.

Polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation
	Our Model 8500 garage doors have an R-value of 15. The doors are manufactured with polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation using a patented process. Polyurethane insulation delivers twice the thermal performance of polystyrene insulation of the same thickness! It also adds strength and rigidity to the door panels and helps dampen sound transmission.

Bottom Weather Seal
	In addition to our patented foamed-in-place insulation, the Model 8500 has a bottom weather seal. The bottom weather seal blocks drafts and helps save energy. It remains flexible even in extreme cold to keep the bad weather outside.

Windload options
	Wayne-Dalton doors are available with Windload options in areas with the toughest windload requirements. Engineered with special materials and hardware, Wayne-Dalton Windload Certified Garage Doors resist the severest storms. Warranty

The Model 8500 comes with a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Wayne-Dalton warrants the 8500 insulated garage door for as long as you own the door from the time of installation against structural failure (rendering the door inoperable) of the door sections due to separation/ degradation of foam insulation. Wayne-Dalton warrants the steel skin of the 8500 insulated garage door for as long as you own the door against deterioration such as cracking or splitting due to rust-through. Other items apply.
