Decorative hardware - steel/fiberglass doors

Optional decorative hardware applied to sectional garage doors help create the look of genuine split, swing doors. The door-accent hinges and handles are made from rust-resistant galvanized steel with black powder coating and pebble texture, giving the look of true hand- hammered hardware. TorqueMaster® safety counterbalance
	TorqueMaster^® is Wayne-Dalton’s exclusive counterbalance system that safely and cleanly contains the springs inside a steel tube. This helps prevent injury that could result from the accidental release of tension. Having the springs contained in the metal tube also looks much better than exposed springs and prevents the collection of dirt and grime on them.

Pinch-resistant door panels
	The Wayne-Dalton pinch-resistant garage door design is engineered to help eliminate injuries caused when fingers are caught in door panel joints during downward operation of the door. This is an important feature to Wayne-Dalton doors, as there can be injuries associated with standard garage door operation. Wayne-Dalton developed the first integrated pinch-resistant door design in the industry.

Polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation
Our Model 9400 garage doors have an R-value of 8. The doors are manufactured with polyurethane foamed-in-place insulation using a patented process. Polyurethane insulation delivers twice the thermal performance of polysterene insulation of the same thickness! It also adds strength and rigidity to the door panels and helps dampen sound transmission.

Bottom Weather Seal
	In addition to insulation, our doors have a bottom weather seal. The bottom weather seal blocks drafts and helps save energy. It remains flexible even in extreme cold to keep the bad weather outside.

Windload options
	Wayne-Dalton doors are available with Windload options in areas with the toughest windload requirements. Engineered with special materials and hardware, Wayne-Dalton Windload Certified Garage Doors resist the severest storms. Warranty

The Model 9400 comes with a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Wayne-Dalton warrants the 9400 insulated garage door for as long as you own the door from the time of installation against structural failure (rendering the door inoperable) of the door sections due to separation/ degradation of foam insulation. Wayne-Dalton warrants the steel skin of the 9400 insulated garage door for as long as you own the door against deterioration such as cracking or splitting due to rust-through. Other items apply.
