Wall mount garage door openers are a Wayne-Dalton innovation. By mounting the opener on the wall above your door, we eliminate the belts, chains, or screw drive, along with the rail that clutters your garage ceiling. That means less noise and vibration are transferred to the living areas.
As the crowning addition to our complete garage door opener system, the idrive® opener sets new standards for garage door safety, appearance, and technology.
The idrive® for TorqueMaster® residential garage door opener is engineered to work on Wayne-Dalton pinch-resistant steel doors equipped with TorqueMaster counterbalance systems.
Please note: The idrive® for Torsion residential garage door openers are designed for sectional steel or wood garage doors that use traditional torsion counterbalance springs. To identify torsion springs, look for exposed springs coiled around a steel bar above your door.

Home Controls
The Z-Wave® enabled prodrive offers Z-Wave technology integrated into select models and offers homeowners the ability to access their wireless home control network with built-in Z-Wave technology.
We assemble many of the prodrive® components before we ship them - so there's less field-assembly for you. We even pre-program each unit for the wall controls and remotes in the box. This means on-site set-up is eliminated with fewer opportunities for errors.
Other features and accessories
TorqueMaster® Counterbalance
TorqueMaster is Wayne-Dalton's exclusive counterbalance system that safely and cleanly contains the springs inside a steel tube. The TorqueMaster design helps prevent injury that could result from the accidental release of tension.
Both the idrive and prodrive operators are compatible with the TorqueMaster® Counterbalance spring system.
Having the springs contained in the metal tube looks much better than exposed springs and prevents the collection of dirt and grime on them.
TorqueMaster® Plus is an option available for some doors that features an anti-drop safety device. If a spring should happen to break while the door is in the up position, the anti-drop device will stop the door from going into a free fall.
3-Button Remote-control Ttansmitter
The 3-button remote control transmitter for our garage door openers activate up to six different doors or devices. The transmitter is compact enough to mount on your visor or attach to your keychain.
These remotes can trigger Z-Wave scenes in select model openers or as part of a Z-Wave wireless home control network.
5-button Wireless, Keyless Entrypad
The 5-button wireless keyless entry pad can control multiple openers by using a five digit PIN number. This accessory installs outside of garage and has no latchkey that children may lose or forget. This keyless entry pad can trigger Z-Wave scenes in select model openers or as part of a Z-Wave wireless home control network.
10-button Wireless, Keyless Entrypad
The 10-button wireless keyless entry pad can control multiple openers by using a four digit PIN number. This accessory installs outside of garage and has no latchkey that children may lose or forget. This keyless entry pad can trigger Z-Wave scenes in select model openers or as part of a Z-Wave wireless home control network.
Multi-function Wireless Wall Station
The deluxe multi-function wireless wall station controls the door, security light, programmable pet access opening, and a 10-second closing safety delay. A vacation lock slide switch, when in the lock mode, prevents all remote transmitters, keyless entry's and wall stations from operating the door. The wireless design allows for easy installation anywhere in the garage. This wall station can also trigger Z-Wave scenes in select model openers or as part of a Z-Wave wireless home control network.
Security Light
This energy efficient security light plugs into any electrical outlet within line-of-sight of the opener. Automatically lights with opener activation and stays on five minutes. Also operates manually from wall station.
